Jessica Kersley from the University of Virginia and Jean Caminero from the University of Puerto Rico are the first students to arrive at UDT, as part of an exchange program that will last for the next four years.
Both students, who arrived on June 11, will be here for 10 weeks working on projects related to new product development in Biomaterials and Bioenergy Departments.
This program is sponsored by the United States National Science Foundation and also provided the opportunity that two young Chilean students made an internship at the University of Maine in the U.S.
