Gaseous biofuels receive special attention, as they provide different conversion and processing options, and due to their efficient combustion in engines and gas turbines; especially, biogas conditioning equivalent to natural gas (SNG), either for their injection to existing networks or their use as vehicle fuel.
UDT is working to develop the technical and economical bases to promote the generation of biomethane as a substitute for natural gas (SGN), developing biogas- conditioning technologies for commercial and vehicle use.
