On Thursday, March 6, we participated in the kickoff event for four new Technological Programs for the Reconversion of Environmental Liabilities (PTEC), a key initiative to strengthen the circular economy and promote waste recovery across various industries.
Carla Pérez Quilodrán, Director of Valoriza MáS, and Juan Carlos Carrasco Moraga, Director of UDT, represented Valoriza MáS—a program focused on scaling and implementing circular technologies within the manufacturing industry and service companies.
The event took place at the facilities of TTM – Mineral Transport Technology in Santiago and was attended by prominent authorities, including the Executive Vice President of Corfo, José Miguel Benavente, along with representatives from the Ministries of Economy, Mining, Environment, and Energy.
One of the most significant moments of the day was the symbolic signing of a commitment to the Circular Economy, which reaffirmed the joint effort of various stakeholders to advance in the reconversion of environmental liabilities and promote industrial sustainability.
Strengthening Partnerships for the Circular Economy
In line with this objective, we continue to strengthen the collaborative efforts of the Valoriza MáS program through visits to two of its partner companies.
Hidronor, with a national presence, offers comprehensive solutions for industry, mining, and municipalities, supporting sustainable waste management through state-of-the-art technology and a highly skilled team.
Armony specializes in the recycling and transformation of organic waste, converting it into compost for gardening and soil nutrition, thereby promoting sustainable agriculture.
These engagements allow us to gain on-site insight into the challenges and opportunities faced by our partner companies, fostering the development and implementation of innovative solutions for a more circular and sustainable industry.
