Description: The equipment measures the explosion resistance of the paper. The test piece is placed on the clamping foot, which has a protective cover. The equipment has a rubber diaphragm that bursts against the piece of paper thanks to a piston that is forced into the hydraulic chamber. The diaphragm is stretched until the test piece breaks. The pressure in the hydraulic chamber is constantly recorded. The instruments also record the rigidity of the diaphragm, being able to inform the ordinary not compensated and compensated breaking strengths. It also informs about the Bursting Energy Absorption (BEA), that is, the energy absorbed by the piece test before breaking.
