Dr. Catherine Tessini, PHD in Analytical Science and Technology from the Faculty of Pharmacy, received the award for Best Doctoral Thesis 2010-2012 Period, at the XI Meeting of Environmental and Analytical Chemistry with her thesis called Development of Analytical Methods for the Characterization of Low Molecular Weight Compounds in Bio-oil and Their Application in Production and Fractionation Process Optimization. Dr. Tessini is currently an investigator in the Bioenergy Department at the Technological Development Unit, UDT.
This meeting is the official scientific meeting of the Department of Analytical and Environmental Chemistry of the Chilean Chemical Society and brings together national and international scientists around the current issues related to the development, application and teaching of modern Analytical Chemistry, as well as the most relevant topics of current Environmental Analytics.
