Closing of the IX Technological Research Competition – IdeA 2020
20 October, 2020 @ 5:00 pm
The IDeA instrument will financially support applied R&D projects with a strong scientific component, which in a short time will obtain results that can be converted into new products, processes or services, with a reasonable probability of generating productive, economic and social impacts.
In the line of Technological Research, it is expected that the projects will continue with applied research, based on a validated result at a small scale, and move towards obtaining results that are closer to their productive application or their implementation in the social sphere.
To apply for an IT project, it must have a proof of concept, model or prototype VALIDATED at small scale, results that will be the basis for developing a technological research proposal that proposes to obtain results of high economic and social impact. A validated proof of concept is understood to be those results that have demonstrated application and utility in the real world.
These can come from previous research such as theses, internal projects, from universities, projects financed with public or private resources.
