The biomass is characterized for having low energy density and being a dispersed and heterogeneous resource. In this context, UDT maintains a line of work aimed at the development of energy densification processes and the production of standardized solid fuels (pellet) based on lignocellulosic biomass, preferably residual for domestic and industrial purposes. To do this, there is a close work with companies from the forest and forest-industrial sector, in order to recover waste.
